Website visitor alerts can notify a Slack channel when a visit matches a saved filter. Configure the channel and filters together so the right team sees the signal. A company match is a lead to review, not proof that a named person visited or intends to buy.
How do I prepare the Slack channel?
Choose a channel whose members are allowed to see visitor and company information. In your Slack workspace, create or select an incoming webhook for that channel using the method allowed by your Slack administrator. Copy the complete HTTPS webhook URL. Treat it like a password: anyone with it may be able to post to the channel.
How do I configure the Dureach alert?
- Open Website Visitors and create or edit the visitor filter or alert.
- Give the filter a clear name. Paste the Slack URL or incoming webhook into the Slack field shown by your workspace. A separate Webhook URL field may also appear; use it only for a separate destination your team controls.
- Narrow the alert with the available company, industry, revenue, employee, page URL, or referrer filters. Avoid a rule so broad that the channel becomes noise.
- Save and use a test action if offered. Otherwise, wait for a matching visit and check the channel and alert history. Do not assume an empty channel means tracking is broken; the filter may have no match.
What if no alert arrives?
Check the site installation, workspace and domain, filter conditions, Slack URL, plan access, and whether a matching visitor signal appeared in Dureach. A deleted or rotated Slack webhook must be updated in the alert. Review any validation error for the URL format. Keep the webhook secret and rotate it immediately if it was exposed.
Before acting on an alert, verify the matched company and contact source, and apply consent and suppression requirements. For the tracking setup, see Install website visitors and route a company.
