Contact enrichment looks for contact details after you have identified the right company or audience. A job may be pending, complete, return no match, or fail. Check the result before using it for outreach.
Before you begin
Confirm the company or lead, remove duplicates, check Settings → Billing & Usage, and select only the records you need. Make sure your role can enrich records. Decide whether you need work email, phone, profile fields, or AI-suggested fields; the available options depend on your workspace.
Start enrichment
- Open Lead Finder, Contacts, or the relevant company/contact list.
- Filter to the records that need enrichment.
- Select the records and choose Enrich or Continue for enrichment.
- Choose the enrichment types shown by the dialog.
- Review the number of records, estimated usage, and any excluded records.
- Start the job and keep the returned job or resource identifier for support.
The request creates a job that can be checked while it runs. A job may not return a result for every record. Do not start it again just because its first status is pending.
Read the result
Open the enrichment progress or history view. Interpret the available states as follows:
| State | Meaning | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Pending / running | The job is still processing | Wait and refresh the job state; do not duplicate it. |
| Completed / successful | One or more requested fields were returned | Review each field and any status shown; check the person, company, and contact rules before outreach. |
| No match | Providers returned no usable value | Try a better identity or role; do not guess a value. |
| Failed | The job could not complete | Read the error, fix the prerequisite, and retry once. |
If the settings and history views are available, use them to adjust the job and compare earlier attempts. A returned email or phone number alone does not establish that it belongs to the intended person or may be used for outreach. Check it against your contact-use and compliance rules.
AI enrichment
AI enrichment can suggest fields from the context you allow it to use. Check the source and confidence, compare the suggestion with the existing record, and accept only values your process supports. It does not automatically replace a company or contact record.
Troubleshooting
- Enrich is disabled: check role, plan entitlement, selected records, and available credits.
- No result appears: wait for the job state, open enrichment history, and confirm you are viewing the same workspace.
- Too many no matches: improve company information, title, geography, or domain inputs before retrying.
- Unexpected cost: inspect the selected enrichment types and the usage meter; do not repeat a bulk job until the first job is resolved.
What happens next
Verify the returned record, add the contact to a clean list, assign ownership in CRM, or use it in a reviewed campaign. Keep the enrichment status and source visible in the record where the product provides those fields.
Field and status reference
| Field or status | Required | Meaning and action |
|---|---|---|
| Contact/company selection | Yes | The record to enrich. Check the domain and identity before spending credits. |
| Provider or waterfall order | Workspace dependent | Dureach tries the providers exposed by the workspace in order and stops when usable data is returned. |
| Email status | Returned by the service | Review any status shown, then check the person match and applicable contact rules. A status alone does not establish permission to contact. |
| Pending | No result yet | Keep the record in the queue; do not start a duplicate run. |
| Complete | Data returned | Review each field and save only values that match the person and company. |
| Failed/unavailable | No usable value | Read the error, correct the input or entitlement, then retry once. |
Exact review procedure
- Open the company or contact profile and confirm the name, company domain, title, and location.
- Select Enrich or the enrichment action shown for the record and review the credit confirmation before submitting.
- Wait for the status to change from pending. Open the result details and compare the returned email, phone, title, and source indicators.
- Save values only after reviewing the person and company match. Add the contact to a named list and note any uncertainty.
Troubleshooting
No credit confirmation: check workspace usage and entitlement in Settings → Billing/Usage. Failed result: confirm the domain is valid, remove duplicate records, and retry once; repeated failures should be escalated with the record ID and provider error, not the returned email. Invalid email: keep the contact out of a sending audience and review another contact’s details and applicable contact rules before use. Confirm the enrichment job completed by reopening the profile and checking its timestamp and status.
What to do next
Send only reviewed contacts to Manage lead lists, then connect a sender and follow Create and operate a campaign.
