Authentication is one of the checks to review when preparing a sending mailbox. DNS records and provider setup may be handled outside Dureach, so coordinate changes with the administrator responsible for the domain and confirm the resulting status before assigning the mailbox to a campaign.
Coordinate the setup
Keep a clear owner for domain changes. Before a new sender is used, check that domain and mailbox setup has completed, then review the authentication status and any warning shown for that account. Setup steps can finish at different times; wait until the mailbox is connected and resolve visible warnings before using it.
Do not assume that a campaign tool changed DNS, monitors DMARC reports, or enforces an authentication policy unless the relevant control is documented for your workspace. Authentication status is one input to sender readiness; it does not guarantee inbox placement or establish that a contact may be approached.
Check the sender before launch
- Confirm the mailbox is connected and can send and receive an internal test.
- Review the authentication status and warnings shown for the account.
- Ask the domain administrator to investigate DNS or provider settings that need attention.
- Check the mailbox limit, warmup status, campaign schedule, and planned volume.
- Review the audience, contact rules, opt-outs, and suppression requirements.
