Mailbox warmup gradually introduces sending activity, but it does not guarantee inbox placement or make a contact list safe to use. Review warmup alongside the mailbox connection, authentication, provider warnings, campaign limits, and the planned audience.
Review warmup and account health
Open Email Accounts and select the mailbox you plan to use. Confirm that it is connected, then review the warmup status and controls available for its provider and plan. If warmup is available, choose a conservative volume and keep the account limit aligned with campaign limits. Avoid a sudden increase in total sends.
Check the account regularly for connection failures, bounces, provider warnings, and changes in replies or delivery patterns. Investigate warnings before increasing volume. Use the visible account status and provider guidance; a fixed warmup period cannot establish that a mailbox is ready.
Before assigning the account to a campaign
- Confirm that the mailbox can send and receive an internal test.
- Check domain authentication, provider permissions, and the account’s sending limit.
- Make sure the planned volume fits recent activity and the campaign schedule.
- Review addresses, contact rules, opt-outs, and suppression requirements.
- Review the sequence, links, message content, and reply handling.
If a check fails, resolve it before launch. Starting a campaign does not clear a warmup or provider warning. See the account warmup and campaign-readiness guide for current steps and troubleshooting.
