Transcel delivers intelligent mobile money for emerging markets. By combining artificial intelligence with a highly distributed software architecture we deliver a mobile money platform robust enough to support country level eMoney networks. The platform allows for interoperability with existing mobile money networks. A suite of mobile applications deliver remittance, social transfers, microfinance, and merchant payments. Users can interact through a familiar chat interface. The company’s solution has been designed to meet the regulatory, market, and security requirements for eMoney financial services; bypass unnecessary costs associated with traditional financial transactions; and provide the services interoperability infrastructure required to support complex partnerships and deliver mobile money services. The team combines expertise from from Xerox PARC, Accenture, SRI, Oracle, VerticalNet, and Siri with a deep understanding of the unique challenges of payments in emerging markets. Transcel is headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica and Silicon Valley.
