Preventix is a unique, minimally invasive screening test developed by the Mexican research laboratory Timser for the early detection of cervical cancer. Unlike traditional methods such as the Pap smear, which require collecting cervical cells using a speculum, Preventix detects specific biomarkers in the blood that indicate inflammation or lesions in the cervix. The test analyzes a 53-element blood chemistry panel to determine the presence of inflammation or precancerous changes.
