TamoRx’s founding inventors have discovered a novel biological mechanism within cells that restricts the immune system from fighting cancer. The research team is focused on developing a new therapy that frees patients’ immune systems from this restriction to increase immune attack on cancer cells within tumours offering a new hope for a broad range of cancer patients. TamoRx aims to develop small molecule inhibitors that work both as a single agent and in combination with other treatments, increasing the applicability of immunotherapy for patients.
