Both peaceful and intellectually stimulating, Talladega College is a small, historical liberal arts school located in the small town of Talladega, Alabama. Talladega College is an HBCU. Bachelor’s degrees at Talladega are awarded through the school’s distinctive divisions, which include the Arts and Humanities, Business, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social Sciences divisions. The Talladega College campus is a substantial part of the school’s appeal. Historical buildings on a tree-lined campus that overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains and wooded areas make for a pleasant atmosphere. However, Talladega is also a place of intellectual stimulation, with scholars, authors, creative artists and scientists regularly visiting the campus to give lectures and host workshops. Also, within a couple of hours of Talladega are the major cities of Birmingham, Montgomery, and Atlanta.
