Spotahome is a mid- to long-term residential rentals platform that is reinventing the property market. It offers the most complete property and room listings for stays above 30 days, bookable exclusively through online viewings which saves tenants and property owners time and money. The company creates the listing at no cost to the landlord - a professional photographer ("Homechecker") visits the property and creates the audio-visual materials including high quality photos, HD video tours, detailed floor plans and honest property and neighbourhood descriptions. By offering the most complete property listings, it allows tenants to book their property from anywhere in the world without the need for in-person viewings. It also offers guarantees against default payments and damages. Spotahome is growing rapidly, fueled by a $40M Series B funding round led by Kleiner Perkins, the first leading Silicon Valley VC in a Spanish company. It is present in 11 cities across 8 countries in Europe. Spotahome was launched by Alejandro Artacho, Bryan McEire, Hugo Monteiro and Bruno Bianchi in March 2014 and has offices in both Madrid, Spain and London, UK.
