Company profile

Soletair Power company profile

Soletair Power is a Finnish startup founded in 2016, operating in the field of Direct Air Capture technology. The company captures CO2 from the air by retrofitting buildings' ventilation systems with carbon capture technology, resulting in low building emissions. Captured carbon dioxide can be mineralized, stored, transported, and used as raw materials to produce synthetic products. In 2020, Wärtsilä, together with Soletair Power and Q-Power, created the world's first Power-to-X unit that can produce fuel out of thin air at the Finland pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai. Since then, the company has successfully delivered several carbon capture units and signed deals in Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Finland and UAE.
