Smithers of Stamford is a family run online Vintage, Industrial, Retro furniture and lighting store set up by myself, Nick Smith and my wife Kim out of sheer frustration at not being able to source good quality furniture on the high street and a strong love for interior design that verges on the outrageously funky & quirky! Born out of a passion for Lambrettas, retro clothing, good music and many visits to Carnaby St and Brick Lane, London, my love for vintage, modern living has been with me for as long as I can remember. Kim has incredible flair for interior design, can make nothing look really something and is able to merchandise a room like no one I know - but don't tell her I said so! With Kim's interior talents, my obvious style (go with it people) and a shared interest in Listed buildings, natural patina, and a love for the rare and wonderful, we felt it our absolute mission to bring Smithers to life. Now in our 3rd year in business with the Smithers brand and going from strength to strength, i have come to a point where i need investors for our brand to grow bigger. I have a vision where i want to be in 10 years time and at the moment we are wanting to do pop up shops in London. It's a dream I'm working on with the smithers brand, i love my brand, my job and I'm determined to get to the top, and i will as we have the product.
