Skansen is an open-air museum and zoo that presents Swedish cultural history through relocated buildings, live demonstrations, and native wildlife. The museum also features a zoo housing Nordic animals like moose, bears, and lynxes, as well as rare domestic breeds. The Skansen Aquarium and the Baltic Sea Science Center offer insights into exotic species and marine ecosystems, respectively. It hosts events celebrating Swedish traditions, including Midsummer, Christmas markets, and folk music performances.
