Shindig is a wholesale reinvention of video chat for large scale, participatory gatherings. On Shindig, all participants can see and are seen in a shared online space. Featured presenters can give a talk, be interviewed, share multimedia, teach, and more to a live online audience of thousands. Selected audience members can be brought up to share the stage and directly interact with hosts, "face-to-face"​, before the entire group. Meanwhile, audience members also, all see one another and can mingle, network, confer, discuss or otherwise share in self-initiated private video chat just as they might converse in small groups at an in-person event. TVT was original home to Nine Inch Nails, Ja Rule, Lil Jon, and Pitbull, among others, and earned during its 25-year run 30 Gold, Platinum, and Multi-platinum releases. Shindig was awarded 2017 Cool Vendor Award in Social Collaboration by premier research firm, Gartner. Shindig has been funded by a $20 million dollar investment from Pritzker Vlock Family Office to date.
