Semantic Hub supports its partners in challenging patient segments (with the focus on rare diseases and various minorities) leveraging AI, deep NLP technologies and Patient Voice: anonymised first-hand unsolicited testimony of patients and caregivers on social networks, forums, and so on. Its platform is strongly multilingual and works with nearly any language. To date, Semantic Hub has experience in 54 countries, with 40+ languages and 80+ indications. It “translates” highly unstructured patient language to a clinical one, which helps provide the extraction of actionable insights on patient experience and journey in the countries of interest (unmet needs, drivers and barriers to diagnostics and treatment, success criteria of treatment in patients’ / caregivers’ eyes and reasons for switch, access issues, Quality of life, stakeholders mapping, burden of the disease and existing treatment, etc.). The results are provided together with takeaways and engagement tips. It also ensures early detection of undiagnosed patients based on the symptoms they describe and case history. The detected patients are navigated to diagnostics (to the centers of excellence or PAGs). Semantic Hub cooperates with PAGs across the globe, and it works with 20+ multinational pharmaceutical companies.
