Saracen has been an active participant in assorted FTR markets, including PJM, MISO, CAISO, NYISO and ISO-NE. With their trading in PJM and MISO being their most prominent, they have consistently been one of the biggest and most successful participants in these markets. In addition to their historically successful FTR trading personnel, Saracen has made a significant investment in back office personnel, infrastructure and proprietary systems and models. Using their proprietary risk management and trade capture system, they are able to transact on thousands of nodes throughout North America and for multiple RTO/ISO member entities. This investment in their people and systems is a critical component of their trading strategy as well as their ability to manage portfolios of all sizes.
