At Sapien, we are passionate about building a social network that truly serves the user. For too long perverse incentives have created big tech kleptocrats that have morphed into data brokers who hoard value generated from a trillion-dollar data mining industry. Surveillance capitalism has undermined autonomy and democracy, while users have become a commodity. Sapien intends to change this. Our mission is to restore power to users by creating a decentralized social platform that enables meaningful conversations, data sovereignty, and economic empowerment.
