Rives and Company was established in 1721 by William Rives in the Colony of Virginia as a way to consolidate business assets owned in North America, South America, and Europe. By the early 1740s Rives and Co owned and managed a portfolio of financial institutions which it still maintains to this day. In 1908 Rives and Company moved from Amherst County, Virginia to Fort Worth, Texas before moving in 2024 to Dallas, Texas. As the 16th oldest company in the United States Rives and Company is dedicated to maintaining its time proven legacy while also ensuring its future by welcoming progress.
