Quark Games, fka: PlayMesh, was started in 2008 by a group of hardcore gamers out of college. As gaming exploded onto the iOS platform, PlayMesh emerged as a leader in the space with over 50 Top 25 applications and 40 million downloads. After achieving success in casual gaming, the company shifted its focus towards more competitive game play with titles like Valor, a cross-platform, real-time strategy game where hundreds of thousands of users attempt to gain hegemony over one another. To further emphasize its commitment towards serious gaming, PlayMesh re-branded as Quark Games in early 2013 and continues to develop category-defining titles in Cupertino, CA.
