Teachers use Pobble to find the best teaching resources, to give pupils an audience for their work, and to make moderation of writing easier. For pupils, the platform offers a fantastic opportunity to engage with their peers. For parents, it provides a unique way to connect with their child’s learning journey. A group of teachers based in North Yorkshire, England started Pobble in 2013. A true grassroots initiative, the founders aimed to inspire pupils and save teachers time. Before long, they were traveling throughout the UK delivering Pobble into the classroom. In 2017, Pobble won the EdtechX Global Super League of Startups, was a finalist for the BETT Awards, and was selected as one of the HundrED.org top education innovations. Pobble has been praised by authors such as Anthony Horowitz, Cressida Cowell, and Michael Morpurgo. Finally, Pobble has gained the support of prominent education leaders, and partners like Microsoft Accelerator, Oxford University Press, and Teachit Primary. Today, Pobble showcases over 100,000 pieces of writing, published by tens of thousands of teachers from all over the world. And this is just the beginning.
