Plan M8 is your "plan mate" the buddy who helps planning your boat maintenance. The name is a hint to our Kiwi roots. The software was initially thought up in 2020 out of need to organise scheduled maintenance tasks on the boats where our founder worked as Chief Engineer. Over the course of his career he had used different yacht maintenance programs, but they were either hard to use, or not focusing on his job as an engineer or not really customised for his vessel. He felt the need for an improvement. He brought this idea up with his neighbour who had founded various SaaS companies and supported founders with his coara incubator. - A new project was born.
