Paul Quinn College company profile

Paul Quinn College, one of over 100 historically black colleges (HBCU’s) in the United States, offers an intimate environment and a select number of academic programs on a campus that embodies a commitment to global and local service. Paul Quinn College is an HBCU. Paul Quinn offers a select number of four-year liberal arts programs, making for a closely-knit, intimate experience. The programs at Paul Quinn are all within the fields of business, legal studies, science and technology. Adding to the welcoming feel of Paul Quinn’s campus life are the residential facilities where students may choose to live. In 2011 Paul Quinn won the HBCU of the Year Award from HBCU Digest. This is, in great part, because of its mission of service, which can be seen on the Paul Quinn Campus. The Farm is a great example of Paul Quinn’s commitment helping not only its students, but local and global communities as well. The Farm is a place where students grow organic produce to help local impoverished communities. The Writer’s Hub is another example of both the intimacy and the service-based approach offered at Paul Quinn. The Writer’s Hub is a place where students of all writing backgrounds may receive individual and collaborative instruction in everything from letter-writing to creative works to drafts of essays. Scholarships, work-study, loans and other internal and external sources provide eligible students with financial assistance to fund tuition and other educational expenses.
