Oman Food Capital is a food and agribusiness investment holding company that manages a diversified portfolio across the food value chain, including fisheries, aquaculture, poultry, red meat production, dairy, fruits and vegetables, animal feed, food processing, agri-technology, research and development, logistics, cold-chain infrastructure, and local farming. It was formed through the merger of Oman Food Investment Holding Company (Nitaj) and Fisheries Development Oman under the Oman Investment Authority to strengthen domestic food production and self-sufficiency efforts. Oman Food Capital works with government and private partners to support food security initiatives and develop integrated value chains in agriculture and food industries. The company’s investment portfolio aims to support production capacity, infrastructure development, and market connectivity across key food categories in line with national food security strategies.
