NCTech was founded by Neil Tocher and Cameron Ure. The iSTAR® range of cameras were design to provide world class automated 360 degree imaging for Police, AEC and Military. iSTAR® is a calibrated camera system providing ultra high resolution 360 degree imagery enabling 3D big data. Data from iSTAR is processed in the VR.World cloud platform where image processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence is used to extract classifications from people, vehicles, traffic lights, roads signs, rucksacks, shop signs, restaurant menus and so on. Data is used for autonomous driving, smart cities, street view and virtual reality reconstrucitons.
