Multiservice Company Bellinzona is an independent body owned by the Municipality of Bellinzona, which has been serving the Bellinzona area for over 150 years. The company is the operational tool to support the energy-environmental policy and the industrial promotion of the new city of Bellinzona and of the whole district. The main activities of AMB have always been the supply and distribution of drinking water as well as the production, transportation and distribution of electricity. AMB deals with water supply through the management of infrastructures consisting of tanks and pipes for drinking water. This system provides for obtaining water from natural sources, for transport, storage, quality control and finally, distribution to individuals and industries.
