Mozambique Women of Energy company profile

Mozambique Women of Energy promotes gender inclusion across the energy value chain and supports access to sustainable energy. The organization designs capacity-building workshops, mentorship and career programs, and networking forums for professionals and students. MWE conducts research and data-gathering to identify barriers to participation and to inform projects that expand clean energy access. It convenes partners, engages in policy dialogue, and contributes to initiatives aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 7. Activities include community outreach, entrepreneurship support, and publication of calls for jobs, scholarships, and training. MWE collaborates with industry programs and serves on steering groups, including work with BRILHO, to connect stakeholders and advance an inclusive energy transition.
