Memoria is a digital memory book and a platform for social communication between families, caregivers and dementia patients in nursing homes. With Memoria, families can share their loved ones life story with both each other and caregivers through photos, stories and relations. When the caregivers actively use Memoria in the patients every day life on a tablet, they can get to know the person behind the disease better and contribute to joy, life quality and maintaining the patients identity. Memoria is Latin and means memory, reminiscing and the recall of memories. The name represents Memoria’s content, purpose and goal.
