We hope to find more such investors, with knowledge in relevant fields, online advertising, A/B testing, legal, viral marketing, etc.* With its novel concepts and implementation, social media startup Mingling expects to attract a significant following among young people aged ~20-50 around the globe. Offering effective matching methods, local event information and social news, revenue will be generated per page view through (targeted) advertising. While similar platforms tend to charge membership fees to unlock any social interaction, Mingling will offer a no-threshold plug 'n play social environment for users to step into. The full-feature site and app will engage users to return frequently in order to obtain page views while maintaining a strong off-line vibe. Team: 2 founders and a full-stack developer.
