MeReal Biometrics company profile
Mereal Biometrics is a Hong Kong private company dedicated to making the world a happy place with biometric solutions. Patrick Partouche, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of France’s leading casino and hotel operator, Groupe Partouche, invented a card that adds fingerprint technology, acoustic technology and battery power to traditional access and payment cards in 2009. He was introduced to Philippe Blot, a pioneer in powered cards, and after lengthy research and development they together produced a biometric card that is patented worldwide and compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation or “GDRP” (2016/679), a law implemented in May 2018 on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. MeReal Biometrics moved to Hong Kong in 2015 to set-up its global headquarters to roll-out the technology in Asia and beyond.
