Mentia is transforming dementia care by enabling frontline caregivers to deliver evidence-based therapies and activities to seniors with cognitive challenges without the need for high level or graduate training. The delivery system is a first-of-its-kind immersive game-based platform, called Deva World™. Cloud-based, tablet agnostic, and co-designed with seniors in long-term care, Deva World translates ‘actual world’ therapies and activities that support brain health and emotional wellbeing into virtual ones. Deva sessions are playfully interactive to build communication bridges and lift mood, thereby reducing care challenges and its associated costs.
