MarkTheGlobe is an innovative startup, which offers International Search Engine Optimization (“Global SEO”) technology for companies with multilingual websites. There is an exciting market opportunity for Global SEO. The SEO market is growing fast and there are only few companies that specifically target the Global SEO niche. In comparison to other SEO providers, MarkTheGlobe provides solutions for a scalable multilingual process with a high level of automation and technology. Our technology is also an interesting extension for global web content management solutions to bring SEO awareness to upstream processes. While SEO is a very competitive industry, we face little competition in the multilingual niche and have great opportunities in currently underserved markets. Online marketing is becoming increasingly more important in a variety of industries and a requirement to compete in global markets. Many companies know how to deal with SEO within their home country. However, global growth opportunities are often ignored because of the complexity dealing managing multilingual SEO campaigns. MarkTheGlobe is developing a sophisticated production system (“GOMMS”) to automate and manage a large number of routine activities in SEO campaigns. This system allows to use a distributed supply chain at competitive rates and high quality results. In addition we develop a SaaS solution (“satural”) for SEO practioneers to review SEO strategies and results for specific websites. This is complemented by satural metrics, a tool that provides real-time insights into competitors rankings, keywords and ads. This solution stack allows us to offer scalable Global SEO solutions for all languages and markets. Compared to the traditional agency model, our solutions have the potential to disrupt the SEO industry and get it on a higher level of professionalism in multiple countries. So far we have managed to get funding for the development of the initial software prototypes and first market exploration. We managed to acquire some pilot customers and expect to grow our userbase significantly in 2014.
