KORUZA is the first affordable free space optical system for next generation last-mile broadband, suitable for 5G fronthaul and backhaul as well as IoT applications. KORUZA combines fiber-like service with fast time-to-market, overall offering short ROI. Data is securely transmitted point-to-point over an eye-safe collimated beam of IR-light with 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps throughput at distances up to 150 m. It is license-free, easy to deploy, empowering an instant gigabit optical network roll-out in high-density urban environments. KORUZA is a spin-off of Institute IRNAS, a Slovenia, EU based company, specialized in development, prototyping and manufacturing of well-tailored and cost-effective future-proof hardware products and IoT systems.
