Jeev Anksh Eco Products is a social enterprise and is in the business of marketing healthy, organic and eco-friendly products since 2012. The company is a DIPP, Govt. of India, recognised startup, under Startup India initiative, with recognition no. DIPP2109. The company has completed incubation with the Land Accelerator - South Asia 2020 by World Resources Institute; NeatEhub, Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat, Assam; and from ZTM & BPD unit of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa Campus, New Delhi, with technical support from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Umiam, Meghalaya. Jeevanksh.com, the company website, was launched on 12/12/12, as an online marketplace for organic and eco-products. We deal in all kind of finished products which are certified organic. We are an Associate Member of IFOAM Organic International and IFOAM Asia. We have tie up with organic growers of Northeast India, and have access to a total farmland of over 1000 ha. under organic cultivation, in the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range of NE region, near the Indo-Bhutan borders. Our farmer friends are over 10000 in number and are mostly small and marginal tribal farmers doing organic agriculture. The company serves clients (B2B food companies) from across the country as well as from South East Asian countries. The company’s products have reached the store shelves in India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Europe. The company won the first National Entrepreneurship Award (2016-17) under SC/ST Category and was awarded by the Honourable Home Minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh ji. The award ceremony was organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. The company provides forward market linkages to organic farmers of Northeast India, and promote and market their farm produce in India. The company has so far benefited over 10000 small and marginal tribal farmers of the region, and was instrumental in improving the income and providing sustainable livelihoods to these farmer families. The company does contract farming with buy-back agreements with the organic farmers collectives (FPC/FPOs & Farmer Groups) associated with them. The company is fortunate to be working with three Krishi Ratna awardee farmers of the region. The company’s revenue has broken even in the 2015-16 financial year.
