Jawala main business is the management of forestry resources including the planting and extraction of timber, managing the planting and silvicultural treatments of natural and plantation forests, felling, cutting, collecting, removing and converting trees into forest produce such as logs and timber within the Sapulut Forest Reserve, The company is licensed to manage a commercial forest reserve (Class II) of approx.11,043 hectares in Sapulut Forest Reserve. The main species of round logs harvested: mixed seraya, kapur, keruing and selangan batu. The logs produced from salvage logging are sold to customers for the production of sawn-timber, veneer, plywood and other timber products.
