JaQool is a company that will leverage social innovation and new technologies to create convenient services that are something to get excited about. Three entrepreneurs from different backgrounds have gathered together to utilise these new technologies and techniques to develop services that can help to make the world a better place. JaQool will initially work on a mobile translation service for tourists coming to Japan from overseas. The number of tourists from overseas has been increasing rapidly in recent years, but many have encountered difficulties due to being unable to understand Japanese. Removing the language barrier is a pressing challenge that needs to be addressed, particularly in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics that will be held in 2020. JaQool can help contribute towards a solution.
