Hintme is an e-commerce platform and social network that enables its users to hint and let their friends know the gifts they prefer for special events in their lives. It is a social gift list website built around the concept of a hint. It enables its users to create a wislist and notify their friends about it. It also includes functionality to save hints from nearly any website as well as uploading photos from a mobile device. Hintme also includes an events function to help users to keep track of special events to buy a present for a friend. Hintme was launched on December 11, 2010, based in Portland, Oregon. It was founded by Tim Chereck.
