Hillcrest Laboratories is a leading global supplier of motion processing solutions. These solutions use MEMS sensors to capture human and mechanical movement, translating that into motion patters which can be used to control and interact with devices. This motion technology is then used to enhance products in both consumer technology and industrial fields. The company is widely recognized as a leader in the Smart TV industry, having created HoME, the first pointer-based interactive media system for TV, and the award winning Loop remote control. Today it counts LG, Roku and TCL among its Smart TV customers. Building on these roots in Smart TV, the company has expanded focus and now has customers in the smartphone and mobile device industry, licenses technology to leading gaming systems and provides solutions to virtual reality customers.
