Agrobit develops digital farming solutions based on imaging (smartphone, drones) to help farmers getting better decision in agro-inputs management. The flagship product is the mobile app iAgro, the first quantitative Decision Support System to optimize pesticide treatments and digitize crops (digital twin) quickly and easily just using a smartphone. The competitive advantages are to provide information unobtainable from other technologies (field sensors, satellites), the use of proprietary AR, AI and computer vision algorithms and the possibility to reach a huge number of users that cannot make high investments but are the majority in Europe (small/medium farms). The app uses AR to 3D-scan plants (tree crops) and in-cloud AI and computer vision algorithms to re-create the 3D model (digital twin) of the scanned plant, in order to calculate its biometrics (canopy thickness, height, volume), vigor parameter (LAI) and field parameters (LWA, TRV). Finally, a mathematical model estimates the correct pesticide doses to be distributed.
