Hapinoy is a Philippines-based program that enables local community stores to provide needed goods and services to the base of pyramid market. At least 30 million Filipinos live in the base of the pyramid and have unmet needs in healthcare, water, nutrition, and livelihood opportunities. Hapinoy seeks to reach this population by partnering with existing sari-sari stores that are present in every village of the Philippines. Its 800,000 micro-retail outlets represent an existing infrastructure to deliver these needed products and services. Hapinoy empowers sari-sari store owners by providing capital, training, and distribution. In so doing, it gains a sustainable source of income and become part of a branded network that enables the delivery of more affordable and quality of life goods for the base of the pyramid. Established in 2007, Hapinoy is headquartered in Philippines.
