GScan is leading a radical shift to safe, accurate, and automatic 'x-ray' technology using natural cosmic radiation, called muons. The ability to scan safely any objects and detect their chemical composition will change how 'scanning of anything' happens. GScan's MuonFLUX product is able to see deep into reinforced concrete, providing valuable information which helps to: (i) avoid the collapse of at-risk infrastructure (bridges, buildings, etc), (ii) extend significantly infrastructure life cycle (without increasing the risk levels), (iii) drastically reduce the maintenance and renovation budgets by identifying only the critical places for repair, (iv) decarbonise the concrete & cement industry (one of the highest-emitting and hard to decarbonise industries, accounting for ~10% of global CO2 emissions). Year 2023 GScan delivered its first commercial projects and earned the revenue of €1.5M.
