GoRoadie company profile

GoRoadie helps connect learner drivers with driving instructors. Built by a small two person team in Dundee, they are dedicated to connecting learner drivers with a driving instructor that suits them, while creating tools aimed at making instructors day-to-day easier. GoRoadie was launched as a beta in 2017, with a proper launch in September 2018. GoRoadie offers prospective driving students the ability to find the ideal instructor for them. GoRoadie was initially launched in Dundee, Scotland (their home town) where they shaped and molded the service before expanding into other UK cities. Throughout 2018, they spent time speaking with hundreds of local driving instructors with the aim of building something they would find really useful. Since then, they received their 500th student. From that point on, they have been steadily evolving and growing their platform. During this time they introduced a payments system to cover their outgoings on servers, data and advertising. They regularly meet active driving instructors to gain feedback on any proposed improvements or changes to the service. In the coming months they look to improve their user experience, add new world-class features and increase the number of instructors using their platform.
