What does FUMFU stand for and what do we do? It means: Funciones por un Mejor FUturo. (Functions for a better future in Spanish). Currently, the majority of Latin American countries are infested with garbage composed mainly of plastic waste. There's a lack of motivation and the little plastic that is recycled, eventually ends up in landfills, rivers and the ocean. FUMFU's mission is to create a positive impact on society by integrating a system that turns plastic waste into building blocks and plastic wood, with characteristics such as: earthquake resistant, fire resistance and with the ability to remain in optimal condition for more than 1000 years. Integrating the wastewater management and renewable energy in the processing system. Our system is totally inclusive and to get communities collaborating in the collection process, FUMFU provides financial rewards to those who help by bringing plastic waste to our collection centers. Our medium term goal is to build 3500 eco houses in the next 3 to 5 years. Using these houses to improve the tourism of the country, provide new houses to students and low resources families and create new churches. We know that together, we can go further in a more effective way. Let's start building the future TODAY!
