Fresmak was founded 10 April 1967 in a small industrial town called Zarautz, North of Spain, aiming at producing Milling Machines, taking its name from the Basque language “Fresadora Makinak”, FRES-MAK meaning milling machines. One of the partners contacts Mr. Franz ARNOLD, a German engineer who came up with the mechanical and hydraulic systems of high pressure in vices. He joins Fresmak as a business partner and thus begins the manufacturing of the first high pressure vices in the world, called the ARNOLD vices. Since 1967, Fresmak has been manufacturing High Pressure ARNOLD vices. Fresmak exports to over 50 countries worldwide and provides solutions to thousands of clients. Constant investment in R&D, Its specialization in vices and clamping devices, its team of highly qualified people, the latest technology at the workshop and a constant investment in R & D has placed Fresmak as world leader vice manufacturer.
