FlipIQ is a powerful platform that connects learners with expert tutors. Sessions are conducted live over the Internet on a one-to-one basis using a shared interactive whiteboard. Students can vet prospective tutors for free in the online study room. The tutor and student can hear each other and write on the screen with supporting learning material such as past exam papers, images and study notes. Students can then decide whether they wish to proceed with a paid session or receive another free intro. Tutors can extend their reach and reputation and even bring their own students to the platform, where FlipIQ takes care of scheduling, payments and promoting their profile. FlipIQ will be initially launched for the Irish schools grind market in early 2013, broadening its curriculum support for third level and global markets on a country-by-country basis.
