Enerya Gas Electricity and Water Distribution Co is established in 2003. The strategy of Enerya is to become a local/regional provider of utilities, with the primary purpose of becoming a provider of natural gas as well as electricity and water distribution services. Enerya’s operations in the energy sector encompasses interests in natural gas distribution and other prospective energy projects, and it currently comprises varying stakeholdings in natural gas distribution companies in 11 cities of Turkey. Enerya currently holds the concession rights for the gas distribution in 11 cities in Turkey for the period of 30 years. Enerya became one of the largest private natural gas distribution companies in the past couple of years.
