Else is a new social good app, coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. It challenges users to take a few minutes to step away from posting selfies and superficial content to instead share everyday acts of kindness. The research behind the concept is extensive, finding that much of the way social media is used today leads to unhappiness and social isolation – yet kindness not only makes people happier, it’s actually contagious! Else combines these insights with the power of social sharing and virality, creating a powerful platform for both social good - and a social awakening.
