curaJOY is a grassroots tech nonprofit that combines clinician-supervised AI, machine learning and virtual reality with proven behavioral health support to create fun and convenient programs that improve relationships, reduce harmful behaviors and teach lifelong skills like impulse control, resilience, communication and problem-solving skills. People's social-emotional health greatly impacts the outcomes of almost every aspect of their lives, from education and employment to physical and financial health, but there aren’t enough providers to meet the growing demands. curaJOY brings diverse communities together to overcome these big systemic problems through responsible technology. Our team consists of leading behavioral health researchers, ph.d level clinicians, data scientists, tech visionaries, youth, parents and teachers because we believe that together, we have a better chance at stopping general trauma, preventing abuse, and building social-emotional skills in ourselves and each other.
