CSoft AS company profile

CSoft AS is a Norwegian company located in Lillestrøm, just outside Oslo. CSoft AS markets and distributes in-house developedWindows based software as well as solutions developed by CSoft Development and other global subsidiaries and partners. CSoft Development a CAD/GIS/EDM software development partner of CSoft AS has roots from the 1990?s and was organized by a development team of the leading experts in the field of hybrid (raster and vector) graphics. The history of this team started in from its first OEM product, RxVectory for DOS. RxVectory set the standard for raster to vector (R2V) conversion and raster editing of scanned drawings at that time. Decades of experience results in the most advanced software to fill the gap between archives of scanned drawings and CAD/GIS vector-based graphics. Products from CSoft are a happy marriage of science and software technology. One of founders and the first Managing Director of CSoft AS Jan Erik Stoll stated: "CSoft has rightfully earned a strong reputation for having the most advanced Raster Editing and Raster to Vector (R2V) conversion software on the market". Jan Erik Stoll unfortunately passed away suddenly and too early on the 22nd of June 2008. "The legacy of our fine products and the strong bonds built, sometimes over decades, with our partners will carry on in the tradition set forth by Mr. Stoll" said Frode Rødland the new Managing Director of CSoft AS. "It is exciting times and many new products and business areas are and will be opening up for us and our partners in the years to come."
