Cotierra is a ClimateTech/AgTech company focused on building agricultural resilience for global Food & Beverage companies. We have developed game-changing technology for the clean and fully traceable, on-farm production of biochar at a 5-10x lower CAPEX per ton compared to other advanced technologies. Our unique, semi-automated reactors are mobile (transportable on a pickup truck), easy for farmers to use, and unlock cheap, unlimited on-farm residues as feedstock. This design ensures high farmer adoption and a scalable, distributed impact. The entire process is fully traceable via our IoT-enabled Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) platform. This provides trusted, verifiable data on carbon removal, emission reductions, and farm-level metrics for CDR buyers and F&B brands. Our Technology-as-a-Service (TaaS) model empowers project developers (like commodity traders and carbon project developers) to launch profitable biochar initiatives.
