Carecove will be a platform to help family caregivers build a ‘wallet’ based on their friends/family/community’s regular online purchases through an affiliate marketing program (think a combination of Rakuten and GoFundMe). Our goal is to help family caregivers harness the power of their community’s purchases with the community’s altruistic desire to help. I started this with my co-founder, Alice, because we both are passionate about helping family caregivers. I was the CEO of Flyhomes (raised ~200M) but got in an accident right before our Series B round and my wife became my caregiver. And Alice became a caregiver herself after her husband's serious work-related accident, right after selling her previous startup to company to 1-800-Flowers.
