Caledonia Spirits operates a craft distillery firm created to support working landscapes and local agriculture. The distillery produces the Bar Hill Gin, Tom Cat Gin, and Barr Hill Vodka, all of which feature raw honey and other ingredients including grains sourced as locally and as organically as possible. The purpose of Caledonia Spirits is to add value to the work of the people of Vermont, including those growing grains, herbs, medicinal plants, and honey, and to support and encourage the organic production of plants and honey in Vermont and surrounding regions, and to provide employment and contribute to the health, spiritual, economic, and social well-being of the community, and honor the traditions of Vermont, Scotland, France, Quebec, and other agricultural communities that inspire its formulations. The Hardwick, Vermont-based distillery was founded in 2012 by Todd Hardie.
